Writing Your First Letter

First dates are hard enough, but writing your first letter to your long distance date can also be difficult. You want to capture your self and your intentions without "overdoing" it or being too aggressive. But don’t worry, you don’t need to be Shakespeare when writing your first letter, you just need to be yourself.

Making Your Words Count

You can start off writing your first letter by telling the women a little bit about yourself. The trick is to not say too much because that’s what future conversations will do. You also don’t want to seem like you’re showing off too much. Try to talk about things that you like to do—this will give the woman an idea of what you are like. Another tip is to avoid using ‘I’ too much, as it can seem like you are egotistical.

When writing your first letter, you should describe your appearance and describe it honestly. You can even include a picture of yourself to help in describing you. Talk about where you live and ask her question as well. This will help to initiate future discussions between the two of you and show that you are interesting.

In writing your first letter, you want to speak from your heart and show the person that you truly are. You can even hand write it, if you’d like—as long as it’s legible. And if you’re not sure that she can understand English, you may want to find out her language and have a translation included.

Dating Tip Number 1009

Russian Women Dating Tips Question: How much money would I need to have to start searching for a russian bride?

Answer: To start searching - zero. But if you are serious, consider expenses of several trips to Russia (usually a minimum of $2000), visas, and more when you bring her back (she will likely not have much money herself).
